I’m not impressed by Ryan at all. I think he bring zero to the ticket. Who will he motivate? His appeal to working class whites is overstated.
He's normal and can talk about the economy. Plus it would help him build a national profile for 2024. Him and Biden agree on 90 percent of the issues.

Yuck. I have no interest in Ryan in 2024. Where is his Black support going to come from? He wasn’t Obama VP like Biden was. He is pretty unimpressive to me. If you going go with pol form Ohio, Sherrod Brown is a much better choice.

His black support is coming from the fact he was Biden's VP.

whitmer wins biden the 3 swing states and the election :yeshrug: i would almost guarantee it

they obviously win michigan, and by extension wisconsin. biden is from pennsylvania. thats the election

but id be surprised if she goes for it after such a short time as governor. bad look politically to 'abandon' the state
counter this with

GOOD LOOK FOR LIFE, BEING THE VICE fukkING PRESIDENT

I'm not sure what a black woman, specifically a low (or no) profile black woman ads to the ticket. Biden's performance among black people is impressive, he doesn't need help there. Seems like the far more important thing is picking a VP who can fire up the base, and who is ready to be president. An Atlanta mayor isn't ready to be president, nor is some random congresswoman.

Kamala Harris unfortunately seems like the most logical black choice. Warren prob the most logical choice over all. Whitmer is a good governor but I'm not sure running for VP on a national ticket is a good idea for her, given how much work she has to do. Granted, running for VP is not some super demanding job but it takes time away from her important job - being governor during a crisis/pandemic. It would certainly be interesting because you know Trump would try to restrict aid to Michigan at some point lol. He seems to really have a hard on for her.

I get the odd feeling Kamala might end up becoming a Supreme Court judge instead of VP. :ehh:
I struggle to understand how anyone can think either of those options are a good thing for black people in this country...

What she did in Cali as DA is abhorrent and criminal...

She should never be allowed near another court of law, let alone the SCOTUS...

Whitmer is just beginning, not a good choice to abandon a state that just elected you. I want Tim Ryan or Beto. I think bidien should walk this pledge back imo. No great options.
