We're banking on the same white women who wouldn't even put a white woman in the oval office in 2016 over Trump:dead:

Whats even the attributes needed to appeal to "them"? Its complete bs that there is some magical woman out there is the woman whisperer. Women dont even like women number 1 number 2 the women disgusted by trump are not voting for him regardless (which hasnt changed since 2016) and number 3 appealing to these women went out the window going with biden who is somewhat of a creep in his own right

This "adding something to the ticket" shyt is nonsense. VPs arent usually gonna add anything at all number 1 and number 2 he already screwed himself over by pledging to
It would be more accurate for people to say, "I don't know what X brings to the ticket" than a bold proclamation about a person not bringing anything to the ticket...

People really want competence more than anything. That's why you see people talking up Cuomo as if he isn't a dirtbag (smooth political operator though). Given Biden's age the whole "heartbeat away" line resonates a lot more. That's probably why the latest Fox News poll had the Biden-Warren ticket +2 when compared to the Biden-Harris/Klobuchar ones. She exudes competence.

Though given her age, she wouldn't be my pick.

Biden ain't picking someone who hasn't won a statewide race.
I agree, but if white America got their way Buttigieg would be the nominee. This an irregular cycle where nothing but beating hyper-incompetent Trump seems to matter.

Clyburn signal boosting Bottoms could land her a cabinet position or could help her gain better contacts ($$$) to make statewide or congressional bid down the road. Unfortunately, I don't see either Ossoff or Warnock winning their Senate races this year. IRCC, the Loeffler/Collins winner's term will expire in 2022.

I think its clear at this point that Amy Kaine and Kamala are going to be in Biden's top 2 choices. One issue with Kamala is that Republicans would use her aggressive attacks against Biden in the debates as politcal commerical ads. It would make both Kamala and Biden look foolish.

Who'd be your pick?

I'm starting to warm up to the idea of Whitmer as VP. Would leave a black man as Governor, should help us in the midwest, bring out the suburban beckys, keep the senate intact. If she was in her second term it would be perfect. It might look bad if she dips in her first term.

Thinking about it more I think it has to be a black man or probably woman though. If he doesn’t he’s going to look like he dissed the demo that gave him the nomination.

Kamala is a Hillary plant and there’s still some bad blood there, I’d say Abrams bug she doesn’t have a lot of experience. I thought Corey booker but no way he survives media digging into his past and I don’t think he has the money to pay Rosario for 4-8 years. You don’t want your VP being a question mark so they have to either have name recognition or a resume.

So I’m going to say Deval Patrick.
