Thinking about it more I think it has to be a black man or probably woman though. If he doesn’t he’s going to look like he dissed the demo that gave him the nomination.

Kamala is a Hillary plant and there’s still some bad blood there, I’d say Abrams bug she doesn’t have a lot of experience. I thought Corey booker but no way he survives media digging into his past and I don’t think he has the money to pay Rosario for 4-8 years. You don’t want your VP being a question mark so they have to either have name recognition or a resume.

So I’m going to say Deval Patrick.
I floated his name a lil while ago. Its a make good to Obama too. Makes total sense
Deval Patrick? :mjlol: :laff:

How Will Biden Choose His Running Mate?

This article suggests that would be the Kamala based on different metrics. I'm starting to believe nobody else stands a chance and that Amy Kaine and Kamala are the top and only two choices that Biden is truly considering.

I'm now thinking it'll be Kamala.

With the Senate in play, he can't pick someone like Baldwin or even Warren for that matter.

Gretchen Whitmer would be a good choice.

She’s Hillary without her being name being Hillary and not being polarizing ..... that should do enough

Kamala Harris would be my worst case scenario

I’m not a Biden fan AND throwing Kamala up there :beli:

if I remember correctly White women were basically a draw in the last election.

might be a misconception to assume women will be a lock to vote for a woman.
White women went 53% for Trump...

But 2018 and recent polling shows he doesn't have that same support.

And yeah its a misconception, but this is the Democratic Party :mjlol:

I'm saying....the "I will pick a woman" thing pops in the Democratic Primary but he's got that locked up.
Its possible that it could hurt him in the general, though.

I'm starting to warm up to the idea of Whitmer as VP. Would leave a black man as Governor, should help us in the midwest, bring out the suburban beckys, keep the senate intact. If she was in her second term it would be perfect. It might look bad if she dips in her first term.

I voted for her (and will again) but she's a terrible choice for VP IMO. Plus she just got elected in 2018 and has barely been governor for a year, would be kind of a bad look to leave that soon.

She brings nothing to the table. Not going to turn out black/brown voters, probably won't enthuse young/progressive voters, and I doubt she really makes much difference with white women when Hillary didn't.

I think if Biden picks a white woman, black women are going to feel betrayed, but the black female politicans being named either have little experience (Stacy) or aren't really liked by many (Kamala) Honestly he has no good female picks:heh:

Actually, Michelle Obama may be his best choice. It's an unorthodox pick but she's the most liked female political figure in America.
