so indigenous people begging along the border = mexico is racist?
do you know the history of northern mexico and how the U.S owned sweatshops in the region created cost of living that is at least 30% higher near the border for people, leading them (mostly women) to live in shanty towns and resort to begging or selling sht to make ends meet despite having fulltime work? that has nothing to do with mexican "racism" and everything to do with american corporations exploiting workers like they do in asia.
second, less than 10% of the people in mexico are predominantly european, unlike the U.S where white people are still the majority. everyone else is either mixed indigenous/white or indigenous.
you've been to a tourist city and that is in no way indicative of a country as huge as mexico as a whole. its like going to miami and saying "damn the u.s is full of cubans and retired jews"

well it is correct that i should not extrapolate from one piece of data
but what i saw in the bridge wasnt the only piece of information, i mentioned it because its something that struck me, and what i have learned afterwards confirmed my suspicions, my conclusion is based on things ive read and experienced about mexico
i would equate it to a foreigner going into the deep south and seeing jim crow at work, regardless of whether jim crow represented the entire country, just that fact that it exists anywhere in the country and that it was tolerated and combined with other information it says a lot about what type of country the US is, and there is stuff going on in mexico as far as racial discrimination that would not even be tolerated in the current US

mexico has never had institutionalized racism the way the U.S has, but yea you're right white people are at the top in mexico, and at the top of that very white mountain stands the world's richest man, a mexican of lebanese descent the same color as my leather wallet

they have billboards advertising skin lightening creams in the phillipines... that means they're all racist.
it happens in india too, damn near all bollywood actresses have light skin and they rarely if ever feature dark skinned indians or black actors. RACIST! theres skin bleaching/lightening adverts all over india as well and prejudice against south indians/tamils just because they're darker.

"racism" the way it has been implemented in the u.s is non existent in mexico, india, the philippines or anywhere else.
unless you can explain or show how "light" filipinos as a people have historically benefited from years and years of oppressing darker filipinos with laws like white people have vs blacks and other people of color in the u.s, then it doesnt exist.
spoiler alert- it doesnt exist. the philippines has been raped by white colonialist for centuries, and the only people that benefited from this have been white europeans. filipinos regardless of their skin color have always received the sht-end of the stick, and whats left is those poor fools wanting to emulate european culture and have european features to feel better about themselves. the same applies in india and mexico.

i think its laughable that you would try to distinguish racism from the cast system of india, but again whatever academic difference there, and i actually agree that technically speaking they are differences, i fail to see how that would answer the question as to why a black person in the united states would want to replace white american racism with somebody who comes from a culture that has a caste system? color consciousness is deeply ingrained in all of the countries you mentioned
so there is no logical reason to think that if you replaced white american culture with filipino culture that somehow that would be beneficial to black people and the same goes for india and mexico
