20 dead kids is gonna spark a bigger reaction then 1 at a time

As i said this shyt hit me harder then any random murder because of the magnitude in numbers

That is true. But I had to look at myself and reasses how I'm accustomed to gun violence and think little of it when it happens around the way.

So your mad because one child didn't get the media attention that a group of 20 6 years got that were murdered in school:mindblown:. I know plenty of people (including children) whom have been wrongfully murdered ; but that doesn't mean i should hold a grudge against 20 babies. nikka are you sick :heh:

:salute:

This sh!t took place in school, during school, to lil kindergarteners and 1st graders bruh.

I'm not trying to strip anyone of caring or being crushed by what happened.

The drummer at my church knows one of the families and has pictures up on his FB page of his kids and the child who lost his life in Newtown together. I can't tell you how hard it is to even watch any of this BS. But I have to question why this overriding caring we're seeing in the sportsworld is tied to this when the evidence of gun violence has been there all along.

I understand both sides. However if it took the deaths of innocent people to get him to stop busting his gun on the court than he should of stopped doing that shyt years ago because innocent people die in his city everyday. Needing some polarized event to make you reconsider that shyt is annoying. I honestly would of respected him more if he kept doing it, because it seems forced because now everyone's getting all PC about gun violence so he figured to jump on the bandwagon.

Rev. Osagyefo Sekou: "This year alone in Chicago, Ill., more than 400 people have died from gun violence -- many victims are children and teens. Yet there is no national grieving, collective lamenting, presidential prayer, or belief that gun violence is not supposed to happen here. For these Americans, collective handwringing is absent and political will naught because gun violence is supposed to happen, there."

That's my point.

or maybe that event really triggered his emotions and stance on the whole issue. I see what you're saying & i'm not saying one kid getting killed isn't as saddening as 20, but it's not every day that 20 kids get shot up and killed bruh. It ain't like he's not doing his part with his charities and what not

This is an example of jumping on the bandwagon "national concern" over gun violence. It should have spark ones concern at a local level we may see on our tv screens everyday but tend to ignore because of the individuals involved.

Even in that article, Chicago kids are lumped in as filler material.
I agree that fake morality shyt always has me smh. It looks so phony when a person does something like this imo.
