You need to stop acting like just because you don't see the issues being plastered all over the news that no one fukking cares what's going on in Chicago, but to have 20 babies who are 6-7 years old being massacred takes gun violence to whole another level. Sadly, it's take a whole lot for change to happen in this fukking country.

There's no national conversation about gun violence bruh, until this happened. Meanwhile, if sporadic violence happens around people that look like us, the nation doesn't bat an eye or jump on the mental health excuse bandwagon.

Even the national attention given to mental health and gun violence is bullshyt.

So gun violence in Chicago hasn't been a national topic for the past couple years?

Not enough for the President to speak or cry about it.

I wanted him to speak on it during his campaign, but it was too touchy a subject to question the NRA. It took 20 kids murdered in Newtown, CT for that to happen. Way too late for those who could have been saved prior to giving it attention now. That's my issue.
