There is no lie in the post, but you seem to be forgetting something. The issue is here in the moment, is what Jill Biden suggesting being done right? Has this been done before for other second place teams? Would she have made this offer if LSU lost? The optics of one team being mainly White, who lost by the way, receiving the same honor as the team that won which was mainly Black. You consider all of those factors, and people's interest in the game itself is unimportant.
