Hire a brotha to clean up the mess while they search for a new qb.

Hope he does well, but yall know how the league gets down
It’s sad he chose that job. Could have had any other spot or wait until next year instead…
:picard:
Organization is a dumpster fire. He could have talked to the fire head coach or coaches first before even taking the interview.
:sas2:
I wish him the best but
I would have stayed away from them, Bears, and Jags probably throw the Raiders in there as well.

Dope but a difficult case with that grandpa in the driving seat and an imbecile trust fund baby pulling the strings. Hopefully for the Jets, Trump gives the whole family ambassadorships far away from the states :skip:

Here is the biggest issue. You picked a conference with Lamar, Mahomes and Allen. You chose a division with Allen. Why not go to the Jags. AFC south has Texans (Stoud), Titans (Levis??) and Colts (Richardson).

Easier path to the playoffs and hope you get lucky against the big 3.

AFC East isn’t too tough though. You hope to rack up wins against a rebuilding Pats, and Dolphins are always a question mark with Tua.

Still if you want longevity, especially without a franchise QB, you try to get in a division you can win. Now it is the NFL and strange things has happened but any organization with a Coach/QB combo is stable and can continue to make runs.

Good luck dealing with the big three plus Burrow. I wish him luck but I see fodder that will be churned out like the rest of the coaches that go to shytty organizations.

Making the playoffs is hardly the bar for success.
Unless you think the Vikings were successful.
But ok.

There's only a few teams in the league that are truly trying to win at all costs. Would all teams like to win the Super Bowl? For sure. But most of them are just trying to stay competitive to keep their jobs. Making the wild card or even divisional round is something a lot of teams will take.

The best case scenario this year with Rodgers is 9-8 and getting blown off the field in the playoffs by the bills, ravens or chiefs in the wildcard round then you have to start the rebuild.

I would blow it up now, you are already behind so many AFC teams when it comes to long term QB play.

This is implying that there’s someone they want that wants them that they can’t have.

They hired Glenn because he’s a former Jet who’s a total opposite to Saleh in terms of personality. More importantly, Glenn wanted the job. They’re an unwanted franchise. That goes a long way with them.
People acting like the 2025 jets had options or shyt lmao

It’s a terrible job.
