:salute:

All this "you're not fully black", light skin/dark skin talk is nothing but a tactic to create further division. It serves no one but white supremacists.

People can't even correctly spot a mixed person. Plenty of people here think Russel Wilson is mixed:mjlol:
How can you say that pointing out the fact that mulattos aren't black is divisive, and that it serves no one but white supremacists when they created the mulatto, and encouraged us to accept them as black so that they wouldn't fragment their race like they have ours? You all keep saying that white people see mulattos as black. So? Does that mean we have to too? Do we have no say in our own identity?

That's how I saw it! You should see the c00ns on twitter that went in on him after this speech. Smdh.. nikka had the nerve to say, "This is the problem. Black people think they are the superior race." These are BROTHAS saying this shyt! I do question BLM's true motives. But, Jesse Williams has been holding it down. He didn't just put on for BET or BLM.
It saddens me to see black people regurgitate white created notions of theer own inferiority.

White people are scared of me. Non-black people are scared of me. No white person scares me. Who's superior then?

Page 2 and im already sick of this thread. There was zero reason to argue about this shyt:francis:

Reminds me of that thread with the video of the guy who brought his white girl to the event. Everybody got too heated to talk about anything decent.

Every single thread does this, and its not just "trolls". Its respectable posters as well.:snoop:Unsub.

Is this suppose to imply that I'm powerless? That I'm in no position to claim my own identity, and choose who I want to represent me/my issues? I don't understand this reply. Every comment I've made in this thread has been in response to how vulnerable we are, as a "community." We don't have to accept any and everyone as black, and in doing so, our unique issues get lost. They are erased. As another poster pointed out, this Jesse Williams hasn't faced the same issues that I have, or that an actual black person has. Even the response so many of you have had to him is telling.
