I'll wait for an actual black person who is actively doing something outside of hotept posts on social media and hotept speeches on TV. Come on. Stop talking and DO SOMETHING. BLACK WALL STREET OR SHUT UP.
Be the change you want. He's doing more than you and you claim he's not doing anything. What does that make you?

Be the change.

Your mistake is putting words in my mouth. I never said that it would fix all of our problems but it will still help and must be done.

Black businesses being supported so they can grow is just a part. Im sure there are other things that need to be done as you mentioned but lets not deny that helping black businesses grow is a necessary part as well because it provides benefits of money being circulated within our community and increases employment opportunities for our people not to mention it gives us more power in this country that can benefit our position in politics as well.
Okay, I'll bite. Which black businesses should we help grow? How would they circulate money in the black community? Well small business is immediately ruled out because a) it doesn't put money back into black hands through jobs/benefits and b) may not create upstream revenue for other businesses. How else would black businesses help the black financial plight? Which businesses in particular?

LMFAO at my son is black, his mother is not white. i see you couldnt also say "his mother is black" so matter of factly. :dame:

YOU'RE actually the type of black that's dangerous. that didnt build a BLACK family, yet want to try to attach themselves to the black community because you're not truly accepted by whites (which is what most of ya'll ultimately want) fukk outta here.

and maybe i wasnt all :wow: at his speech because he didnt say anything new.

Honestly, I don't think ANYONE could've delivered that speech that would've made the Coli 100% happy :pachaha:.

Best to just enjoy and move on.
We're long past speeches, at this point speeches mean zilch considering our collective condition, this speech serves the same purpose as a hit of cocaine, which is to temporarily make the user feel good in the moment while nothing changes.

People see shyt like this and think, "white folks ain't gonna like this" and my reply to that is why not? As long as Black people are talking about the problem, white people have nothing to be concerned about.

When 911 happened, white people didn't spend years discussing how evil terrorism is and giving feel good speeches, they took action because words can only go so far when dealing with people who aren't trying to listen.

I appreciate the spirit of Jesse's speech but it's pretty worthless in my opinion.

Start small and check out your area and see which black businesses you can substitute for a white one that you currently use.

Take little steps first.

Like I said its one of the steps. Get some of the black owners of the business to join in the effort and hire more black people so more of our people can have jobs once the business grows. Other groups are doing this as we speak and based on what Ive seen its beneficial.
