these speeches do nothing after the day is over. Its just the case of someone speaking about shyt that has already been discussed a million times. Im at the point where I feel they should shut up and do something that will change what they are complaining about or or sit down and make a post on tumblr.

I wouldn't necessarily go that far because the audience that the BET awards reach is more than just 20 something year olds that are part of this social media fukkery we apart of.

A lil breh or brehette who 13-14 years old might have just seen something like this, and decide this is a thing they want to pursue in when they get older. Some folks will always be past the point of no return, but its always some who will be new to the voice.
