Yeah that argument can work both ways. If LeBron was traded to the Lakers on draft day and had Shaq as his teammate he wouldn't have to switch teams either. How different Kobe's career would have been if he never got traded by Charlotte. I'm certain he would have switched teams if that were the case. You act like he didn't try to force a trade from LA to Chicago if not for the Lakers wanting Luol Deng. Imagine if he had to endure playing for the Hornets he wouldn't have made it past his rookie contract with them.
