But a live Roots produced album is more likely since he dad an MTV live with them

The difference between a high quality Jay Z album and just an ok good Jay Z album is whether he wants to reveal more of Shawn Carter or showcase more Jay Z. Shawn Carter is more RD, Blueprint, American Gangster, 4:44. Jay Z is more Vol. 2, Vol. 3, Blueprint 3, Magna Carta, etc.
