He speaking on a lot of different shyt that's been going on in his life w/ where he's at now, as oppose to going through the motions and coming with some more frivolous cookie cutter shyt like he has in the last few years.

Jay doing what I said he wouldn't do because it's not trendy. I'll accept my L, gladly. This is a good album. His flow does sound off at times, as does the mixing, and I think this is a process of how chopped the samples are. In some areas it almost feels like No ID chopped the soul out of the tracks. I can't help but wonder how 9th Wonder would handle these, since he's prob the best chopper right now. Or if Dilla was alive.

Story Of OJ, Family Feud, and Marcy Me are standout tracks to me.

Lyrically he comes correct overall. Not sure how I feel about all the money talk. How does consolidation of wealth at the top help black people, even if there are a couple black billionaires.

Hov just trimmed the fat. There is no Anything, Show me What You Got or Hollywood on this album. Just better beats and better bars (even tho KC Hov lyrics were on point)
