explain this please?

I saw him live at Dundas Square in Toronto ten years ago. An open space downtown where families pass through with strollers and he was like "Who here likes threesomes? Make some noise!"

A news article even commented. He went off even crazier. That's what I remember tho.

Manifesto: The Main Event featuring Black Thought, Jay Electronica, Rich Kidd, Saukrates Dundas Square, Toronto ON September 26

New Orleans native Jay Electronica stepped to the stage cup in hand to deliver a stream of blistering lyrical head shots, cleverly dropping the beat out of each cut so that not a gasp was missed as his words were absorbed. Unfortunately, things began to unravel when Jay - already oblivious to the show's "no curse" rule - thought it necessary to ask female audience members about their tastes for violent sex, before climbing into the crowd and refusing to end his show.

Eventually, anxious organizers convinced the man he was cutting into supposed partner Black Thought's already comical set time, and the beloved Roots frontman was allowed to deliver what amounted to a satisfying snippet of his live mixtape.

Whatever. I forgave him for that. His new album is dope.

on first listen i kinda like it, didnt love it. i consider myself a pretty big jay elect fan. and was of the belief he didnt need to drop an album to justify the regard i already held him in. nothing here is really as good as the material weve heard before it and he has a pretty big catalog of songs, actually.

What did he say about Rza?
And which female rapper?

10 years ago seemed like a day ago. Based on that behaviour I didn't really like him.

This album is great, but I think him and all of us really have a long way to go to become great.

Jay Z established himself very well.

I think anyone can fall off tho.

With Jay being so great for so long - it makes me wonder what Em has been doing for rap. Although raising a family, dropping albums and touring is still very much on point.

I secretly wish he'd collab with like 10 underground 2000s artists for a collab album.

He would slap the rza for calling the south wack..then apologize after killah army threatened the beat shyt out of him..they found out where he lived in Brooklyn.

Jay during drunkard period tweeted Jean gray.. with perverted notes.

this album isn’t good enough to be divisive. I ordered the CD. It won’t ship until May. I see someone citing MBDTF & TPAB as parallel instant classics. That’s PROOF this album isn’t a classic. Stone cold proof.

but I’m going to play this a second time and focus on Jay Elect, who’s dead nice while trying to mute Hov, who’s audio poison.

The FBI, agents, police and some rouge N.O.I members killed Malcolm. It wasn't N.O.I ordered, it was FBI and government forces that orchestrated it. There was mad undercover agents and informants all involved in that.
