It's not rude, it's your opinion which I've said you're entitled to, but I don't care about your opinion, only my own. Your opinion has no sway on how I personally view the album, I'm judging it off my own thoughts, and I and many others feel it's a classic.

And you keep stating your opinion as fact when it's not at all, I have this better than Bandana for sure, a long way. And TPAB isn't a classic to me either, so yes I have it as better than some of those albums and it just shows how subjective the topic is.

And in regards to other classic, I'm not saying it's the greatest rap album ever or anything like that, but I am saying I believe it to be a classic and I believe it will stand the test of time in the sense it will be able to be played and enjoyed in 10 years, 20 years, 30 years and beyond that. Because the foundations are strong, there is craft and emotion in the album, also nothing I consider filler, every song is dope in it's own right and there's some universal themes on the album that will always be relevant, for example A.P.I.D.T.A, it's a theme that is timeless and will always be relevant, as long as humans are mortal, and even if somehow immortality was reached it's a time capsule of when it wasn't.
Stopped reading when you said TPAB isn't a classic, Imma stop the topic now. enjoy the album breh.

Exactly, it shows I'm not swayed by online critique opinions or go by Metacritiqe or Pitchfork ratings and judge for myself based off the actual album.
Theres no mention of me deeming MBDTF as a classic because of cacfork and metacritic. I used both of them to explain how important it is to put aside your personal feelings when judging an album. Show me where I said I BELIEVE MDBTF IS A CLASSIC BECAUSE PITCHFORK AND METACRITIC SAID SO!!!!! YEAH!!

Thats me. I became a fan after Exhibit C. I do have a lot of his stuff and I like it but I am not sold on this just uet. I also am not a Jay Z fan.

That’s fair.

Give WTFIAJE another listen and then the sound of this album might make a little more sense to you.

you don't need 20 years to pass for an album to be a classic. A classic is a piece of work that is of exceptional quality. Example would be TPAB and MBDTF which were classics the first day they dropped due to how exceptional both albums are.

Man fukk what them nikkas talkin bout.

shyt was a classic to me as soon as APIDTA ended the 1st time I played the album.

I’ve been listening to hip hop long enough to know when a project is upper echelon off one listen.

I don’t need validation from a bunch of cornballs.

Exactly, a lot of people get swayed by critics opinions, critics who have no credibility themselves instead of judging for themselves off the music. They wait to hear what others think before feeling free to express their view or they say something that aligns with it. fukk all that.

I notice a lot of the hate on the album is agenda based online, it’s narratives rather than critique of the actual album. Even on here a lot of the most ardent haters of the album are agenda based, which is very obvious. It’s no surprise certain threads have been upped or made about artists they Stan cause they hate someone else getting any praise or attention even for a little while lol. Which is quite an immature mindstate in my opinion, you can like more than 1 thing.

You can never silence the people though and a lot of the normal general people are calling the album a classic, seen 100’s of people say it. It’s an album that people will probably appreciate even more in time too, some things will go over some’s heads initially as they won’t get it, but they can in time. It will age well because it’s crafted well and the themes are timeless.

I just want to pop in here to say I gave the whole album 3 listens and it's incredible.

I had my reasons why I didn't like Electronica before. Mainly for him dating that Rothschild - being the other dude in that marriage, him talking threesomes in outdoor shows with kids and families passing through and his album lag.

A Coli member put me on to some of his classic work and I appreciated the almost mythical vibe he brought.

That's the past.

This album is great and could very well be a classic

Intro and beat drop on Soulja Slim? Perfect

Jay Z verse? Perfect

Neverending story - almost a guns and roses vibe - and Jay is a rock star. Don't know why ppl are dissing this. Alchemist delivered here.

Shiny suit dope. Soldier - dope. And Jay Z is on these dope beats?

What's crazy is how Jay Z just keeps appearing on the next verse.

Flux dope

Only weird beat to me is Ezekiel's wheel.

Electronica produced that and Ghost of Slim tho - so with more listens it may work.

Hip Hop needed this and like they were saying in the live stream this album cured the Coronovirus.

It made me totally forget about that bullshyt.

I didn't like the album art at first. Thinking with all these great artists and models on Instagram why not utilize that talent?

However then I'm like the cover looks like the reflection of a tinted glass window of a luxury car reflecting back nature in some wealthy area and it's very real yet modest.

This album is very powerful, I'll say that much. I fux with it! Great work to all involved!

Digging the album. But was it what I was expecting after the 'Exhibit' tracks Eternal Sunshine, We made It, Dear Moleskine etc. Its a breath of fresh air don't get me wrong. Also wondering why Nas and Mos aren't on this...
