Had Love stayed put and kept doing 2k Mycareer on pro numbers he would have been a bigger star.

J Will was that dude, one of the players that kept the excitement going after MJ retired for me. But if Love had stayed put and kept doing 2k Mycareer on pro numbers he would have been a bigger star IMO. You can theorize that the team would still be treadmilling but you never know....but alas, he became Bron's scapegoat.

White Chocolate would wreck shyt in this league though, I think about that from time to time.
He wouldn't even start

In all honesty Jason Williams wasn’t really that good but he played an exciting style of ball...he’s overrated. He had dope passes and would be the first player to take the long bomb 3s off the dribble.

I used to love watching his games but he was still putting up 12-14pt 8ast with turnovers.

basically an inefficient chucker who made exciting plays every so often.

luka was allowed to develop & have his confidence grow

most whiteboys here will not prioritize hoops & will focus on the sports they feel they get to shine in

it may shift a little soon as you get more examples of whiteboys hooping on a elite level

all & all if you came up hooping you know how whiteboys get straight castrated on the court

in europe they don't get traumatized like that ha

I was wondering what the difference was. It cant be genetics if cacs from other countries can still ball out.

Jason Williams used to be my favorite player in the whole goddamn league. He was very popular, but that lasted a short time bc he got traded to Memphis where he begin playing more down to earth. He was never as popular as Allen Iverson. Iverson was the most famous player on the earth at one point in time. I think there was a lot of hype around that Kings team to begin with bc they played an exciting style of ball, it wasn't all Williams. He was never a 'star' in the league the way we use the word. Stars are players who are well-known bc they are very very good. Curry is a star, Lebron is a star, Kawhi is a star, Jason was just someone who was flashy and got attention for it. Not to say he was trash, but he was never a star player imo.

White Chocolate was just a highlight guy. He was serviceable as an NBA PG for a few years and made a lot of flashy plays but he was nowhere near a top notch NBA player or seen as a star. Folks saying his popularity rivaled Iverson is a GOTDAMN LIE :skip:Just the type of white boy who could actually hoop with the And 1 cats. He had flavor. :ehh:

This is a very inaccurate thread that is deserving of a one star at the very least. He was a borderline starter at best in his prime. It doesnt really matter that he was popular, he was never really a factor. Ill take Kyle fukkin Korver over him. Im this close to negging these threads pushing false narratives on site :scust:

overseas they aren't being discouraged

he came up cozy in europe surrounded by euros

luka was developed & allowed to find confidence

if luka came up in the states he'd have been getting put in the backseat & ran off the court his whole prep career

he'd probably decide fukk it imma go be the qb imma go be a star on the baseball diamond or whatever

most whiteboys ego won't survive in an environment that is black dominated

so they don't take it serious & prioritize other sports

people go where they are celebrated & welcome where they are comfortable

The Kings went from never being on tv 98-99 to having a shyt load of games televised the following season

If you were there you wouldn’t feel the need to make up things

Bruh, it’s because they made the playoffs the year before. The Kings had been trash for so many years. Williams was only with the Kings for 3 seasons and not until he left the following season did the Kings finally clinch the #1 seed & won 61 games. Jason Williams started his career on an established playoff team and got some exposure for playing in the playoffs. The Kings teams that we really remember are the two seasons directly following his departure
