That Best Friday the 13th to me is still part 3.... Human Mongoloid Running Jason>>>> Zombie slow paced Jason....
Really? I thought part 6 was all about having fun and it was very tongue in cheek...let's be honest, none of the Jason movies were scary; they were supposed to be fun; I think 6 balances the tone of humorous and thriller extremely well. The remake toook itself too serious like all those Platinum remakes; it was no fun.
Humor isn't bad. It's a definite part of the movies. But the humor in Part 6 just hits you over the head. Like Crispin Glover's dance in Final Chapter is funny but it just exists. Part 6 is all "let's have a character turn directly to the camera and say 'Some people have a strange idea of entertainment.'"
I've definitely got the minority opinion on this though, people love Part 6.
There were rumors going around that this reboot would be a found footage movie which just sound dumb as fukk. Even dumber than the last reboot where they had Camp Crystal Lake sitting on top of an old mining shaft. Who would build a kid's camp on top of a fukking mining shaft?
I see what you're saying. It is more tongue in cheek than any other movie outside of Freddy vs. Jason...part 4 was still trying to be horror with a bit of comedy sprinkled in
as a one off, that movie was REAL funI liked Freddy vs Jason
That was my problem with the remake. it had absolutely no reason to exist and added nothing refreshing, exciting, or fun; its the same shyt (except with more useless blood like all the Platinum remakes) and the victims were boring as shyt; that frat boy wasn't even annoyingly fun; he was bland...let's be real: shyt was remade for a cash grab and that's it; I pretend like the remake doesn't exist because it added nothing to series
I'm a Marcus Nispel apologist, so I'm gonna be partial towards his Friday the 13th. His Texas Chainsaw remake was some good shyt. His Conan movie was bad though. Most movies are made for cash anyways!
No offense breh, but Nispel is a hack. He's the Brett Ratner of horror remakes. And that Texas Chainsaw shyt was a dumpster fire too.
