Something interesting I've noticed in 1980 at least in Japan is that NWA Championship matches started phasing out 2/3 falls matches, leading to Harley matches all being 15-20 minute sprints (I mean, match structure wise, physically Harley probably has never even approached "sprinting" speed since he was a child) that are basically nothing but high spots which is interesting. His return match with Baba for the title in 1980 starts with a piledriver

It works a lot better with someone like Mil Mascaras than Baba due to the athletic aspect, but also for some reason Harley vs Mil has chairs, blood, tables, multiple dives, and ends with them having a chair duel in the crowd.
