My gym had an uptick Monday morning, but school is back so all them people probably fell off already. Crowd looks the same for the most part, evenings may be a different animal.

Pre-pandemic I was workring at my university rec centers, most students were home come January 1st and there wasn't really a crazy increase in the number of people come late january, february etc.

Since the pandemic I've been going to a chain gym and the uptick is there but nothing crazy.

Almost everyone does chest on mondays.
You avoid the shyt show at the gym, waiting for a rack or bench or machine when you have all these guys doing the same body part as you that day.

The obvious workaround is to train at a time that isn't very busy. But I'm saying though.
It's called International Chest Day for a reason.
