Something is going to get each and every one of us at some point in our lives. It don't matter if you're older or younger, time moves on and nobody here is going to beat death which is about as fair, objective and impartial as it gets. Spend time with your loved ones, treasure those moments and and be as optimistic as possible.
Regarding this issue: if Jamie or anybody else chooses to deal with matters like this privately then it should be respected. When people do this, many times it means they only want to share small details because it makes their lives easier.
What does it matter if you know more details anyways? Are you a doctor? Do you know some specialized tidbit of medical knowledge a medical professional with 30 or so years of experience is overlooking somehow at those elite facilities? You think other doctors have not reached out to the doctors who are involved to share their expertise? You don't think people in the medical field communicate with one another?
Chances are you don't know more than the doctors tasked (I don't care if you workout or how healthy you are), so get out of everyone's way.
If anything, you're just making it more difficult for his family if you expect more news out of them by putting more obstacles and demands right in their way - news that you can do absolutely nothing with if you knew of it anyways.
