meanwhile, liberals bytch about "the corporations, man" but dont suggest any real world solutionsevery single thread is the same thing
Lol, poor people don't need more money! What would a poor do with money? Ridiculous. And any point you make that makes me look wrong I'll respond with
Their floor employee pay could reflect the cost of living where they are employed.meanwhile, liberals bytch about "the corporations, man" but dont suggest any real world solutions
our boy bernie is fighting for 15 an hour, and chase beat that. so now what?
The problem with your argument is that whether you like it or not. there will always be people who you consider mediocre. That doesn't change them needing to eat or needing shelter. You give excuses for mediocrity.
You seem to have a very shortsighted view of society in general.I paid my employees well but it wasn’t my responsibility.
It’s there responsibility to make ends meet for theirselves... just like its mine for me...
Increasing the min wage is the only slope far as I can see.Your decision not to hold them accountable is under the guise of slippery slope argument.
and who's to say what that figure is? and at what point is a company rich enough for you to shame them into doing that?Their floor employee pay could reflect the cost of living where they are employed.
Nope, being alive, isnt enough to justify living a comfortable life in my opinion.Be such a scumbag, you don't even favor your fellow man being able to afford basic necessities
They should adjust base pay for their employees on the cost of living in those places and not a normalized rate that works for higher paid employees.Increasing the min wage is the only slope far as I can see.
I'll ask again, what is your solution? what is "holding JP accountable"?
It shouldn't have to be mandated by law. The company shouldnt need to be forced to do what is right.and who's to say what that figure is? and at what point is a company rich enough for you to shame them into doing that?
im just trying to help you get this law written :jaymelo:
True. Once there is a problem though all people can do is look for a way forward. Out of those three the woman is in the least advantageous position to fix the problem. Common sense would tell me that the other two would have to step up to the plate to address the problem they contributed to in order for it to become better. All 3 parties are wrong, but its politically incorrect to say it.
Woman makes bad choices
cant provide for kid
could have gotten a studio apt
Bank is greedy
they could afford to pay more
Politicians suck
they could subsidize & give credits for rent paid
Exactly. If the government can adjust pay rates for locality, companies can for sure. They should adjust base pay for their employees on the cost of living in those places and not a normalized rate that works for higher paid employees.
JPM is a company in a position to calculate what it cost to live in a place. It's a primary function of their business.
well according to you, they do. im just asking how you would force them doesnt seem like a hard question for someone who's clearly firmly entrenched in a beliefIt shouldn't have to be mandated by law. The company shouldnt need to be forced to do what is right.
