It's already an "underground" sentiment that's simply become more open recently. I guarantee that the comments in the threads about this on sites like Hacker News and Reddit are filled with people who agree with the manifesto writer.
It was obvious he'd be fired just off the strength of what he wrote being disruptive as hell and helping to create a hostile work environment. Funny how part of his argument was Google should basically be more "conservative" in its overall culture, but Google simply did what any company acting in a "conservative" manner (really, any company in general) would do when an employee is being disruptive in any manner, which is showing them the door.

Google and most of these tech companies lean liberal. I'm telling you these liberals are just as racist as conservatives. They are just much more savvy and smooth in their racism. Look at how Zuckerberg and Facebook have been treating blacks. The liberals up top only like blacks to the extent that they can use the black struggle to get their own agenda pushed. Most of these tech companies have very few blacks in them, but they meet the 'diversity' quota because they have white women, trannies, homosexuals, etc. What ended up happening is that blacks were used to push the struggle forward and when it came time to dole out benefits, language was very carefully manipulated and generalized codewords started being used so that all of these other groups could jump in front of the line on the 'diversity' bandwaon.
