While we concern and get distracted over some memo...Google/Youtube are censoring, scrubbing, changing search algorithms for information, so stuff they don't want you to see goes to back of the pile.....health, current events, etc

Basically trying to tell you what to think, instead, of just being a platform for open thought....

That is the irony.....Google "apparently" seeks diversity in tech workers, but not diversity in the actual organic search engine algorithms results or content ....let that marinate for a minute..

What good is a diverse tech world if the minorities they hire are just practicing the same censorship game...... You hire a highly qualified HBCU engineer whose job it is to make sure "black empowerment" search results are hard to find or top search result for that phrase are from Essence Magazine or The Root .....when we know damn well they wouldn't naturally be top results...........

That's part of the issue. There's no details whatsoever offered on what these programs are exactly. Without knowing the details of these programs and what their intended goals are, and knowing how people like him tend to view any program geared towards a specific subgroup, it reads less like a dispassionate critique and more like he's just offended by the mere existence of these programs.

The value of diversity in and of itself is another topic, but at least from a business perspective, some of the research I've stumbled across suggest more diverse companies tend to do better than more homogeneous companies. So it makes sense that a lot of companies would look for ways to diversify their workforce.

But he had to know the company leans heavily to the left and that he was going to be crucified. It is what it is... dont think it would of been this big an issue if white women weren't being shyt on.

Ehhh. Diversity in tech, or lack thereof, has been a big topic for the past few years and companies like Google have at least given lip service to wanting to change it. Not to say going at (white) women didn't make it even bigger than it would've been, but given their very public stances on the topic, it would've blown up just as much if he were going at, for example, black people instead.

Frankly, I'd be highly surprised if him and his fellow travelers didn't harbor similar sentiments about blacks being inheritently unsuited to working in tech.

I was listening to the Stefan Molyneux interview and the engineer is an inarticulate lightweight. The guy seemed tame but Stefan was clearly trying to twist his words and frame the narrative in more devious way.

Look at how Zuckerberg and Facebook have been treating blacks. The liberals up top only like blacks to the extent that they can use the black struggle to get their own agenda pushed. Most of these tech companies have very few blacks in them, but they meet the 'diversity' quota because they have white women, trannies, homosexuals, etc. What ended up happening is that blacks were used to push the struggle forward and when it came time to dole out benefits, language was very carefully manipulated and generalized codewords started being used so that all of these other groups could jump in front of the line on the 'diversity' bandwaon.

Id go as far to say that conservatives being outwardly racist make them a lot easier to deal with and avoid. The smoothness of liberal racism has been more damaging to the black community. They're getting us to kill ourselves with planned parenthood and all of these abortions. They are in African nations telling them to 'manage their fertility.' They've broken up the black family structure with feminism and welfare. They've created a nearly permanent underclass with the two aforementioned tools. We need to stop looking at ANY of these political parties as our friends and learn to negotiate and make those parties earn our votes in exchange for something, but really, we need to detach our primary means of self improvement from the political process. Depending on professional liars to come in and fix our communities will have us waiting forever. We need to start teaching each other how to start businesses and the such.
