Great rapping but the beat and hook are basura
Blackstreet killed the hook and the beat is one of jays best pop beats pre vol 2.

Who are these people better than both with no albums?Jay-z has been smokin shh!t and smashing and a factor in hip hop longer than Biggie was on Earth...saying he hasn't surpassed him at this point is pretty ridiculous. Unless you're just talking about flat out rapping ability and shh!t like that, which is subjective...but if we're just talking about rapping ability there's madd nigs better than both that don't even have albums.
Lil cease said big thought he was nicer then himIn 96 he passed him
Big even knew that
What did he study from Biggie? Biggie only had one album while living that sound like nothing Jay Z ever did before or afterJay studied Big and managed to stay relevant each year…
It worked out for him.
Treat everything like your first project.
Now Jay doesn’t need rap like that.
If Big was alive, he’d be running the business world and charging major figures for a verse
/threadBiggies best efforts are better than Jayzs best efforts. When that's not longer true, we can say Jayz surpassed Biggie (if that ever happens).
I look at it this way:
- Reasonable Doubt > Ready To Die
- Life After Death > All Jay-Z albums
Who are better at just rapping ability period without taking catalog/careers/song making ability/success/impact/shhit like that into consideration? I shouldn’t even have to list names if you understand rapping, you can tell me.Who are these people better than both with no albums?
Name the damn names lolWho are better at just rapping ability period without taking catalog/careers/song making ability/success/impact/shhit like that into consideration? I shouldn’t even have to list names if you understand rapping, you can tell me.
I’d hope people don’t think the dudes on “The Greatest Rappers of All Time” lists are there because they’re the most talented ever at rhyming…because that’s just goofy.
