Nowhere in that interview did Punch say it was over the "Control" verse. He said Cole and Diddy had an issue prior to them discussing the verse with Kendrick.

If you evaluate 3 on that criteria you can see why many argue kendrick stands out given he scores well on all three criteria, where drake is lacking as an artist in terms of growth, subject matter etc, and J cole is not as strong on star power/crossover song making
