Keeping my overhead low, and my understand high
They are all the same...please do not think of them separately they are all chronological synced...NOI is "regular" Islam

:jbhmm:

but NOI has Elijah Muhammed as the leader and regular Islam has the other Mohammed and then there are diversions there with Sunni and Shia...

they got their differences

Think of the teachings as a story that has "to be continued" at the end of each book...

Watch farrakhans's response when this devil tries to turn the crowd of Arabs against him

what do you think of Christianity and Judaism?
I already gave u this answer but I'll be a little more detailed...Allah began his teaching with Abraham...and continued his teachings through Moses Jesus and many other prophets...they all have stories and lessons that are a part of God's word...they are not separate just an extension of the other

The Holy Ghost, whom The Christ warns to listen to after he is gone, is none other than the prophet Muhammad (pbuh):blessed:

Your statement is really interesting. The bible states that the one unforgivable sin is blaspheming the Holy Ghost. Most Christians today grapple with what that actually means as it really isn't clear but I'm sure many Christian would look at this statement and say that this may be the closest thing to it.

But can you unpack this a little bit more? There was not any confusion as to what the Holy Ghost was because you see the interaction of the Holy Ghost in the scriptures.

The most finite interaction is at the baptism of Jesus where you see all three persons of the Christian trinity interacting. The voice of God (the Father) in Heaven, Jesus (The Son) standing in the Jordan River, and the Holy Ghost (Holy Spirit) descending from heaven in the form of a dove. Most theologians point to this scene as being the foundation of the doctrine of the Trinity in addition to other supplemental scriptures that explicitly equate Jesus to the Creator (the Father) and the Father to the Holy Spirit. But that's for another debate. The point in which I'm trying to make, there is an understanding that the Spirit that took the form of the dove that descended from heaven and fell upon Jesus at his baptism, is the same Spirit (the Comforter) that was sent to be God's presence in the world after Jesus ascended. Which makes sense, baptism is the symbolic act of death and the cleansing of sin. Jesus took part in that act of baptism, then the Holy Ghost descended upon him. Jesus's death marked the cleansing of sins for humankind, therefore the Holy Ghost descended upon human kind.

So it's clear to Christians what the Holy Ghost is because you see the Holy Ghost during the baptism of Jesus. Are Muslims claiming that the Spirit that took the form of the dove that descended upon Jesus to be the spirit of Muhammad?

I'm not trying to debate doctrine, just interested in what Muslims actually believe.

I believe ur talking about John 1....in that scripture it talks about how the Pharisees were questioning who John is...and he told them I am not Elias, Jesus, or that prophet!!!.... that prophet is in reference to Muhammad...

John 14 is Jesus speaking himself and says that his father's house has many mansions....i interpret that as...as long as u know my father and believe in his teachings u can live in one of his mansions...

Jesus also says that he is the way the truth and the light...which to me means I'm that nikka and there's no way to these mansions unless u know and understand who I truly am and believe in my teachings

He says that no matter where I go u will no that what comes after me is of me and my father because u know that teachings

He says that u will know that I will leave u with the comforter....the comforter is THAT PROPHET that the Pharisees were speaking of...jesus was explicit in explaining that he will go away and the comforter will be with u forever....I take that to mean that the comforter is our last chance...our last warning....our last prophet:yeshrug:

Eh.....not exactly. I’m not speaking about John the Baptist and neither am I’m speaking about Jesus. I’m speaking toward the person you referred to below as the Holy Ghost otherwise known as the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Ghost...Christians believe that The Holy Ghost is an actual ghost or spirit as opposed to a physical being...and attribute the Trinity as God, The Christ, and the Holy Ghost...Allah(God) is a physical being, Jesus is a physical being but not the Holy Ghost??:comeon:...The Holy Ghost, whom The Christ warns to listen to after he is gone, is none other than the prophet Muhammad (pbuh)

And then you make the statement that he is the Prophet Muhammad.

If I am to use this as the proper understanding, how do I reconcile the many instances in scripture where I see the person of the Holy Spirit being active, for instance, in the baptism of Jesus, of which was the example I had given above.

Here is the actual scripture of his baptism which can be found in Matthew 3:16-17:

16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:

17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

In this scripture, you see the Holy Spirit being an active participant, acting simultaneously with the Father in Heaven, and Jesus standing in the Jordan. If I am to take the position that the Holy Spirit = the Prophet Muhummad, how do Muslims understand this scripture? In addition, how do Muslims reconcile the many instances of the Holy Spirit (what you understand to be the prophet Muhammad) being active before the time of Jesus and during his lifetime?

In other words, your statement presupposes that the Holy Spirit (the Prophet Muhummad) comes or appears only after Jesus, when, in fact, scripture shows, not only the Holy Spirit interacting with Jesus, but also appearing on numerous occasions before Jesus. Is the Muslim understanding of these appearances as the Prophet Muhammad making numerous appearances to mankind before he is born in bodily form among the descendants of the Ishmaelites?
