• the death star is one of the baddest sci-fi creations ever, and the subsequent destruction of the first was straight up piff
• Darth Vader is one the best villains ever
• light saber fights at the time were cool as shyt
• the At-Walker things on the snow planet were hot

However, I don't think I can ever watch these movies again.

star wars is as big as it is BECAUSE OF EVERYTHING ELSE BESIDES THE MOVIES...

lets keep it real.. if those 3 movies dropped, and we never heard another word about it, they'd be cult classics.. lucas had ZERO ideas on the whole universe and backstories and all that shyt



other people came and wrote book after book.. making up stories before and after the movies.. making comics.. writing their own personal scripts... then making those into cartoons.. video games.. language books.. encyclopedias... etc etc

that kept it alive and expanded it to so many other places that the first 3 movies couldn't and didn't take it to

if you stop and watch the first 3, it's good entertainment.. it's nothing you'd think would last 40-50 years with thousands of pieces of extra literature on the subject

stand those 3 movies on their own and we gonna act like it was citizen kane or some shyt.. acutally no... I watched citizen kane... that was more overhyped nonsense.. best movie of all time my ass

I think they might use ILM or WETA for the special FX. i like jj and star trekreboot was popping. i just hope he keeps shyt centered and not use those damn lens flares. he got to cut that shyt out. Disney gave this nikka a chance lets not fukk it up. I got faith, trust he doesnt wanna be the nikka to fail cause he's gonna hear about it the next day. lol.

The myth of star wars being a huge universe is ridiculous, since everything about this Universe only exists in things fans made up or in books that have no connection to the films. Nothing in the films makes you feel like your in this huge galaxy.

Empire Strikes Back is easily the most iconic action/adventure/fantasy flick of all time.
