It’s either take this gamble or shelf movies for 2021 due to COVID. No take backsies. This will likely be the new normal and other companies will follow suit. Disney was already reconsidering on Black Widow. It is. It’s a good consumer move but the deadline article acknowledges Wonder Woman is going to lose money. Pretty sure the matrix will also along with Godzilla and Kong.
the person who figures out how to make movies at the same size and budget of Wonder Woman and tenet while also streaming will be lord and ruler of the world.
Free HBO Max with my AT&T Gigabit internet

They’ll simply reduce budgets to match.
Same day theater and HBO MAX and available on MAX for 1 month after.I'm confused with the way the twitter headline reads. they are "releasing their entire lineup all at once on HBOMAX and in theaters"?
So will each movie have it's own schedule theater/HBO date and it will play on HBO app for a month? Like Wonder Woman 2?
You're only worth what you can draw. If the work dries up they'll cave. Not happening. Not unless you plan to not hire any stars or you can outsource all your CGI to Bangladesh.
But do expect AT&T (who now own HBO and WB) to try and own the pipelines even harder though.
I want to see the reduced budget end of it. Cause now you’re asking actors and writers and directors to take reduced salaries as well. Then they’ll ask for more on the backend (whatever the hell the backend looks like) which will continue to eat into studio profits and that’s not a game the studios want to get intoIt’s either take this gamble or shelf movies for 2021 due to COVID. Yeah that’s what I’m saying. There’s a lot of mouths getting fed and now we’d be asking them all to eat less. Including the ones we don’t see on camera who aren’t millionairesNot happening. Not unless you plan to not hire any stars or you can outsource all your CGI to Bangladesh.

data doesn't count on hbo max when you're part of the planWhat's your data cap though and what's the monthly bite?
Think about this, AT&T/WARNER MEDIA gets to keep all the profits.
Disney is at a stronger position. Their movies make more than WB movies do and their streaming service is already doing gangbusters will minimal content. Already they have 73 million worldwide for Disney+. Not saying it won't happen, but they don't have to rush anything.
