Not necessarily.

If none of the studios stop making the kinds of movies Tom Cruise still makes then they will just move on.

Easier to make 4 Hemsworth Extraction over 3 years films than a 200 dollar MI:10
Tom cruise will have to do something, most likely retire. You can only work what they give you

I don’t know if this has been asked already as I haven’t read the entire thread but won’t online pirating affect them in a huge way? I mean Netflix shows are put on pirate sites the same day they are on Netflix.

And it doesn't hurt Netflix at all. They have 150 million subscribers and a market cap bigger than Disney :manny: So the answer to your question is a resounding NO it will not affect them. Families aren't broke boys.

:ahh:
No HBO max in Europe means I’ll get these movies some other way.

I would gladly pay for HBO max if it was available but until they fix the legal BS I’m gonna be on my BS :manny:

breh when they say a movie is "losing money" it's not factoring in the other parts of AT&T as a whole. A movie can "lose money" but still be beneficial to the brand overall as more people switch phone service/ISP etc.
Of course but no one likes losing money on movies. Especially for a long time. Even if it’s beneficial to the brand. Especially a company that much in debt

Breh the music business had to fall back. You got rappers out here making pennies on the dollar compared to what they used to. That's why they wanna go independent. Will an actor take a pay cut but still make millions or will they risk going indie? I think I know the answer to that..

not just actors I’m talking about tho either. Like someone said in here, unless they plan on outsourcing CG and other facets of movie making, they’re going to need to figure out how to make a movie like Wonder Woman for the same price while still making enough to be in the black. Cutting corners won’t help and none of these cats are roger corman, so they can’t make movies cheaply and at that speed.

Actors and behind the scenes people, unlike rappers, are in unions. So it’s a different ballgame there as well. And they’ve got no problem going on strike forcing studios to play ball on their terms. Meaning those costs come back to us.
