AMC was sounding like it was gonna go under. They have like $11 billion in total debt and $600ish million in cash on-hand. Current liabilities (due in the next 360 days) are $1.5 billion. The free cash flow burns like $385 million a quarter.Increased my position on AMC stock after this news caused their stock to tank a bit.
Now I wait
Then why not stay at my personal home?
There’s still a chance I have some holdings in amc just in case they get boughtAMC was sounding like it was gonna go under. They will have to start dismantling their business by selling assets to pay that debt or finance more debt which makes matters worse.
What could you have possibly seen to make you want to buy their stock? Looking at the books it's a disaster and they have about 2 quarters of cash left before they'll be forced to file for bankruptcy protection or worse.
If that’s the case though wouldn’t you still be going to a theater regardless? Sans pandemic of coursenot if i live in an apartment with a 32 inch tv..

I want to see the reduced budget end of it. Cause now you’re asking actors and writers and directors to take reduced salaries as well. Then they’ll ask for more on the backend (whatever the hell the backend looks like) which will continue to eat into studio profits and that’s not a game the studios want to get into
Yup. I fukking hate their internet though.Free HBO Max with my AT&T Gigabit internet
