This is the best thing that could have happened to the MCU. Adding X men and F4 will prevent the MCU from going stale after Avengers 4. Now they can add popular characters to the franchise instead of trying to stretch and carry the franchise with lower level characters that casual fans don't really know or care about

They made the Guardians of the Galaxy pretty damn popular so i wouldnt say thats an issue.

Put another way, more people care about Rocket Racc00n than the Flash.

IMO its going to be hard for them to reboot X-Men. Then they have to reboot the entire TV shows(which have been doing good like Legion) and MAYBE Deadpool... Just do a soft reboot with some recast, costome changes and some story changes.

It's not like Fox was trying to make these stellar movies, it was the fans and Ryan Reynolds who had to force they hand.

Ryan Reynolds had to pay the writer out of pocket to be on set

The director friend had hook them up with free VFX work


In Logan, Huge Jackmam had to take a pay cut for logan to be rated R


It was the people behind the scene that was passionate that push for comic book movies like Logan and deadpool... Fox was telling them no for years and years

Marvel Studios and Marvel (which handle the tv shows) are two separate entities under Disney. If they keep that structure going forward then they wont keep any of that tv show stuff as canon as far as the movies go. We saw how they had no qualms about working with a rebooted Spiderman, they will kick all that old X-Men shyt under the bus if need be without hesitation.
