All the blood spilled...... and I’m just talking about Punisher.

Someone educate me on how that’s rated G or PG-13? It’s it because of a lack of nipples?

So we can see side boob, bare asses and raw fukking but as long as we don’t see any nipples it’s not rated R?

They skate with that stuff because it’s not a different beast but it is a different beast. That stuff is branded abc marvel and Netflix. Again when it comes to comic book stuff they’ll find a way to make it happen. My argument and I’m sure @Ironman has the same argument, is the stuff that’s not a comic book movie. X-men will be fine. Deadpool will be fine. And it will maintain its same voice and tone hopefully. It’s all the other stuff that has me thinking and a tad concerned about. I hope they prove me wrong and find a way to keep that flow of ideas coming so we can get more action flicks like die hard or the French connection or sci-fi flicks or horror flicks

Haven’t watched Remnant.
Not particularly interested in seeing any of Planet of the Apes movies.
Didn’t really care to check for that last Aliens spinoff.

So I’m not hating or knocking them, but I guess I rep an audience that doesn’t necessarily care about those IPs and not gonna spend my money to see them. Everything in my discussion points are for the Marvel properties.

Speaking of DP.... didn’t they lose a key person part of the creative from the 1st one?

I would tread lightly with expectations of the sequel cuz it sounds like (trynna paraphrase a past report) before it was a collab effort between RR and some other guy and a sense of “checks and balances” took place. But since someone left due to creative differences we may get full unfiltered RR.

I’m looking at this situation like WWF with Vince McMahon and Russo then WWE with no Russo

Fox also has a stake in HULU .. what will this do to the Disney service...
will they just put all there stuff on HULU.

there's also a chance they operate the studios independently still .. I mean Pixar, Marvel, :Lucas Film and Even Disney all function separately.

its not like when the guardians are in space they see TieFIghters or Xwings ... although SW was a long long time ago

I'm in for all comic book movies so I don't care either way though I am curious as to what happens to Deadpool and the like with family restraints most likely coming. More important yes franchises like the Ape series and Aliens I hope aren't affected and they let Fox have a section for their science fiction section. With X-men I'm not expecting anything immediate anyway and we need to get through this phase before I think about what's ahead. Hopefully the First Family is nore of a priority as far as introducing to the MCU plus @Norrin Radd popping up randomly would be

And yeah I’m a movie geek so I’m into everything. I’m not just worried about comic book flicks. I want fox to still do what they do when it comes to their original movies and their franchises. Sometimes to their detriment but other times it just lets them give someone a check and say “do what you do” and I appreciate the hell out of that. I like variety.

And it’s funny you mention wwf because on a edge and Christian podcast from a few months ago, edge said he was one of the guys in the back who thought buying wcw was a bad idea. He liked the competiton and different flavor. Not saying this will be that but in general he’s against monopolies. So am I.

RR=Ryan Reynolds.

I could’ve sworn there were some interviews/reports awhile back that in the prepping of DP2 the other writer had creative difference with Ryan and saw that he wants to go all in with some of the shyt from the first one that he felt only works once.

Or to simplify, he wanted to expand the story/characters while Ryan wanted more dikk jokes. Something to that effect so he decided to leave the franchise, now Ryan can write as many dikk jokes as he can and no one can stop him.
