They didn't bid on the new QT flick cause they sold Miramax in 2010 back Pervstein.

They'll be fine on the FX side. If it makes $$ they are leaving them alone. They have audiences and advertisers already built in.

They didn't bid because the Disney name doesn't use QT flicks. They used their non Disney names to do flicks like that. The Disney brand by itself doesn't do shyt like that.

Disney will not be shytting on the built in FX audience and their "R" material. It would cause a total hemmorage of a dedicated audience. The name won't even change. Which is why Punisher is on Netflix. They know their audiences. Like another poster said Deadpool will probably go under another banner to not step on their PG-13 butter.

The average person won't even notice.

It's like if Larry Flynt owned a kids theme park. He would not brand it under Hustler. It would have a new name and face. Parents wouldn't even know.

ABC= play it safe outside of Scandal etc for adults. But that's it. Disney didn't want to have nikkas poppin bottles....so what?

We will see but either way big picture this is a bad look for Disney to own Fox. And in that sense Im talking movies and not TV.

I don't wanna lose R rated movies from a major studio. And again not just talking Comic book films

in my opinion Charles Xavier and Logan shouldn't be recast once they merge with MCU

recast everyone else if you'd like but keep those two actors

They're almost 20 years deep and it would be like replacing Robert Downing Jr with another actor at this point, u can't do it and not expect failure/backlash

Spiderman was different because each actor only last about less with 5 years with the character

If this does go through, the leadership at Disney will be totally different by the time it happens. Iger will be gone and I believe Feige's contract runs out in 2019.

Those films take place in the 80s on back.

Also it wouldnt make sense for Disney to totally discard their 20 yr back catalogue of newly acquired X-Men films (which also would be streaming on their upcoming streaming service aka the netflix killer) without connecting them in some way.

Sh1t would be like rebooting Star Wars instead of dropping Episodes 7, 8 & 9.

Hugh Jackman is getting too old to play Wolverine.

When/if MCU requires X-Men everyone will and should be recast. Doesn't matter how good some of the Fox actors are, they should start fresh.

That said, Fantastic Four should be more of a priority than X-Men.

All should watch imo. I believe Fox and Marvel should out aside their beef and do what Sony is doing with Spidey being shared. Everyone literally wins.
