its not really the comparison per se, Im fine with comparing them in general, its the qb x vs qb y shyt when their TEAMS play against each other. its not brady vs peyton when they play each other. its peyton vs belli and brady vs the other defensive coach

Like I posted above, when it's a Brady vs Peyton discussion, they're comparing accomplishments. I don't see how you can say that's retarded.

The other point your making, well shyt that's all in the grey area. It's not like Peyton is going in there with the Bad News Bears defense and have Stevie Wonder as his DC. Dungy is a HOF coach. It's a straight up disrespect to say that Peyton was handicapped in the coaching department.

Adn for the record cornball, I personally picked the Pats to represent the AFC in the super bowl over the Broncos. I said in a #TFTS podcast that the Broncos go as far as VON MILLER takes them breh. I also said the fall off for the Pats offense minus Gronk won't be as great because Brady uses Shane Vereen and Shane was the one truly missed early in the season when he went down with injury.

I call football as I see it playboy.

Broncos only go as far as von miler will take them but they're 6-0 without him :lupe:

they'll go as far as their defense allows them without self destructing

Breh, I'm not here to disparage your football acumen:whoa:
I just don't agree with the premise of your OP:camby:

2.) tom Brady's defenses in the playoffs haven't been any better then Peyton's statistically in the playoffs. In fact they have been close to identical overall and wins and losses so lets not even go there

that is easily one of the most blatant lies I've seen on this site and thats saying a lot

Yes you are.

You clearly don't want to make it about OC vs. DC that we see played out in every NFL game every weekend.

:laff:

Belichick defenses....in the playoffs. stop it.

You know what I mean :upsetfavre:
In Brady's 7 playoff losses, the Patriots defense has allowed 192 points=27 PPG
In Manning's 11 playoff losses, the Colts/Broncos defense has allowed 271 points -24 PPG
In Brady's 17 playoff wins, the Patriots defense has allowed 285 points=17 PPG
In Manning's 9 playoff wins, the Colts defense has allowed 129 points=14 PPG

One of the biggest myths in sports is that tom has had better defenses in the playoffs

Dog.....I don't care about regular season. When Von Miller "disappeared" against the Ravens last year in the playoffs, you saw Champ Bailey look like mudfoot and everyone else struggle.

That team goes as far as Von Miller takes them, not Peyton IMO.

shyt is the truth. Brady's defense has failed him more often than not.

The reason why he's lost vs he's won is whether he's had enough time in the end of the game to pull it out.

just to be clear I partially agree with you. Broncos will only go as far as their D allows them, Peyton can have a great game and the D can still piss it away in the last seconds like last year.

However I think it is more of a team effort than just all on Von. As long as the D as a whole doesnt shyt themselves they have a great shot of winning it all
