Brady wasn't a Top 15 QB during any of his SB runs and you can hold me to that quote

he did have one of the best defenses of all time carrying him though

Peyton meanwhile had the hardest run of any QB in playoff history (fact) and won a SB and MVP in the most inclimate weather conditions ever. He had a run for the legends, better than any of Bradys
Completely idiotic. Name the 10 QB's better those years, clown. Brady led the league in touchdowns in 2002.

Defenses are near identical in both wins and losses statistically in the playoffs. Please stop with this excuse

Exactly. And Brady has twice as many wins aka twice as many times in the playoffs where his defense held the oppsing team in check. Your point would only have merit if Brady was winning the types of games that Peyton has been losing (25-27 ppg games) but according to the numbers that you posted he struggles just as much. So it really comes down to which defense is getting the job done and not asking as much of their QB...not this magical, hollywood, gun-slinger QB saves the day narrative that so many espouse. It's not an excuse it's called being logical and consistent.

yep
ironically enough, colts defense kinda carried peyton his SB run, but I digress

Don't even get me started on how history has throw Vinatieri's performances in those championships under the bus. He was the deciding factor. 45+ yard field goals ain't chip shots. If he pulled a Scott Norwood we wouldn't be speaking of Brady in such reverence.

@NYC Rebel - On topic, there's been times Peyton's got into Beli's head and made him go dumb ass. That 4th and 3 in Indy comes to mind. Beli knew he couldn't stop him. I think if they meet in the playoffs Peyton is gonna get him. In Foxboro, Peyton had the noodle arm working against him and the fumbled punt. His arm has gotten stronger.

Troy brown

Cristian Faurie

I'm trying to find a QB who has led the league in Passig TD's with a worse core and its hard. That was his first full year As a starter as well

Bullshyt being the facts? I'm tired of manning fans going with this narrative that the reason he doesn't have as many rings was because of the defense, well his defense wasnt any better then Brady's in the playoffs. So what's the excuse.... Luck?

:manny:

In a single game elimination...it's actually a valid argument.

You nikkas look at stuff in the goofiest way. All of those cats were quick, tough receivers. They weren't household names, but they weren't garbage far from it. They were perfect for Weis' system. He didn't ask Brady to make tough/crazy throws.

People bring up Peyton's WR core, but that man develops his receivers. Demaryius and Decker were projects. Now people fawning all over them. Same with the TE. He drills them cats until they're polished. Same with Knowshon.

A few Floors Down from the Daily Grind
I don't really care about all this nonsense anymore.

All I know is when Brady has had weapons, he's done exactly what Peyton does. When Brady hasn't, he's still been excellent, just without the gawdy numbers.

Besides wins and losses, TD/INT ratio, and the occasional completion %, I could give two shyts about the rest.

I know that Dan Mario is the best QB I have ever seen play the game, yet I also know that Tom Brady has been consistently impressive his entire career with less than stellar talent more than any quarterback I've ever seen.

I don't like the spiral that Peyton throws, I hold the fact that he's always had top skill players against him, I think he under preforms or saves his biggest mistakes for the worst possible times.

I think his brother throws a better ball but is more reckless and less disciplined in the pocket, I think Joe Flacco throws 4-7 balls a game up for grabs with middling accuracy, I think Matthew Staffords hands are too small, that Ben Rothlisberger holds the ball for too long, I think Drew Bree's forces the ball to much into coverage, that Aaron Rodgers is a front runner with a lackadaisical attitude in a great system, and that Brady needs to run at least once or twice a game to keep defenses honest because when he pats the ball and steps off his spot hes prone to being inaccurate and throwing balls behind his underneath receivers.

AKA: There is Marino, then everyone else.

1.)I never said they were garbage I just said its the worst core a QB Has ever led the league in TD's with(unless you can name another one).Compare that to what manning is leading the league in TD's with this year and its night and day.

2.) and brady doesn't develop his WR's? He's turned Edleman into a potential 100 catch, 1000 yard reciever this year.
