im talking before they got to airportI think he saw him running towards that direction. Then they are out in the field where the planes flyover. The lights coming on and off. He saw Neil's shadow off the ground when the lights came on and got lucky, I think Neil's shot missed and his hit

Do you mean how he knew he was at the airport? That's where Waingro was posted up. LAPD knew Waingro had a hotel room at the spot and put word on the street to bookies, snitches, etc. Neil knew Waingro was there but he was gonna let it slide. Then, after contemplating it some more he said nah I ain't letting this shyt slide so he went after him.

Not even close. The scene was amazing. I remember going into the movie not really knowing all that much about it. I just knew Deniro was in it so I had to go watch it (He was on fire in 95 with Casino and this one releasing within a month of each other). Me and my cousin went to go see it and this scene had everyone in the theater looking in shock afterwards. I remember leaving the theater feeling emotionally drained but hyped as hell b/c of that shootout scene. Something like this.
