Stopped trying to get a helpdesk job and I'm not trying to find someone who will let me volunteer in networking

I've had hands on experience touching switches, doing commands on the CLI, and I've made crossover cables in a classroom setting

I'll be damned if I pass the CCNA and then I get a helpdesk job

I'm need help making a entry level resume with a CCNA when I get it, I can't get this resume shyt right to save my life. I got the S+ and A+ and I can't write that shyt down properly to get a damn call. Either Florida is just garbage for entry LEVEL IT jobs or my resume skills is just trash.

I'm gonna knock out this CCNA and get that on the resume.

Brehs, so I'm like 75% done studying for A+ and doing practice tests and its pretty difficult, my question is I see a lot of brehs in here saying the A+ is worthless and no money in it, you should skip it or start with something else?

Are we sure the network+ is awful and it worth it? Doesn't Verizon requires their network techs to be N+ certified?

Got my Interim secret clearance. About to set up my interview wit the investigator this week. Trying to stay at my job until I get my full secret. Then im bouncing or hittin up my contractor for more $$ and a cybersec roles:ufdup:
That’s the move! Clearances are invaluable and allow you to move more freely and get paid. I have a pending public trust but if I can get a secret, I wouldn’t be mad.

If you have no previous technical experience or interest, the A+ is a good start. You should be able to find a desktop support job with an A+ and that gets you into the door and you can figure out your path.

If you’ve already been working in IT related roles, get a cert that’s more specific to where you want to go.
