Brehs i work for a startup ISP in the Network Ops department mainly constructing and designing the network. I want to get deeper in the technical side of things so i started doing my research on what certs i should get and stumbled across this:
Is it required that i get every single cert highlighted in the purple since I want to be in the Network and Cloud Technologies career path?
That’s a lot. Can’t even imagine how long it’s gonna take me to obtain all that
Lmao at Sec+ paying out 110k. That cert is as bottom tier as A+naw I jumped directly to the CISSP for my information security certs and did a lot of cloud certs too as Cloud Security is big and major cyber security companies are now supporting the cloud.
I personally just went by this list...

Just start learning AWS or GCP...you don't have to go through all those path from begineer level to expert level, too much time studying. Get a linux academy membership and start learning. there are also tools out there like Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker that if you know, it's an easy six figure bag.

If you don't mind me asking what is your job title/position?I'm to a point now that no home lab or cert can help me.. a live production environment so different and knowledgeable.
I have been working with the network engineer on a new construction site.
Dude ask me to reverse polarity of the fiber
I was like ..what.. lmao
Learning a lot tho, our environment is juniper
And no homelab or cert can help you? That sounds strange. I would think that a homelab at the very least would find beneficial. It support tier 2 and 3
