Naa breh, knock the one out that holds the most weight. My coworkers been Security Engineers fa mad long. Both have 10+ years of XP but be shook when I mention CISSP. That cert hold weight in these streets.




Too bad they dont know that its just the Security+ 2.0

Had to turn down a contract offer due to them wanting me to start tomorrow and I have a final interview for a permanent position on Friday. I thought I would get more time to mull over my options.

I'm finally A+ certified


Now I'm focusing finding a job.


But in the meantime I have already began studying for the Network+ exam.

Was looking at the CompTIA CSA+ or CASP but I don't see them shyts in any job descriptions.

Same thing over here.

At the same time, Security ain't really my thing but after being in cybersecurity sales for over a year now, it might be smart to get something.

I'm MCSE already

I was looking into ISC CAP which focuses on Information Assurance but how much weight does it hold ?

I have the CISA down the line, I don't have the required experience yet.

The only reason why I'm looking at CAP is that first off I have the required experience, second I am fairly familiar with some of the content and third the training is pretty cheap.

I'm still looking but CAP might be the best choice for 2017.

Cost: Network+ $294.00 vs. CCENT $125.00

The Network+ is not a prerequisite for other tests. It does not bring you closer to a higher goal; whereas the CCENT is the foundation for all of the CCNA/CCNP tracks.
