Did you put that role on your resume? I been at this new gig going on 2 months but it seems there was alot of messy work done on the executive level for the contract thus people on the lower levels are feeling it. I wanted tk thug it out but its becoming more evident that this is going to be a huge mess that needs clean up and the nature of the work simply isnt thag rewarding. The company is amazing but this contract has a lot of kinks, my goal was to thug it out for 1-2 yrs and then explore moving to another project but this is getting ugly lol

It's valuable if you work with Cisco equipment. If you don't work with Cisco you can still learn a lot about networking security.

If you want to get in info sec, get your CISSP. Nobody really asks for the CCNA security.

Not an IT job. But when my first IT job dried up( contract ), I needed to do something. So I went back to warehouse jobs. The first job they gave me was shoveling sand into some pit for $8/hr. How the hell is somebody suppose to do that for 40 hours a week? I quit that night. never touched the shovel..lol

My current job has a warehouse in the back( just filing records that were never moved to the mainframe or something ) and sometimes I get flashbacks of those days when I was working in a warehouse whenever I walk past our warehouse.

IT Brehs. I don't care what anybody says, we are truly blessed. Cause god knows there is some truly shytty jobs out there with the pay to match them.
