In the description it says up to $60 , they are desperate to fill and they're offering you $30? If they're desperate tell em you want that 60 theyre offering.

Something is off here..and that up to $60/hr for a desktop support role sounds kinda :patrice:
probably on top of having no benefits no PTO or time off. So basically no benefits at all

Yesterday I had an interview with a company and today their recruiter called me and asked what type of salary I'm looking for. Should I give him a range of what I'm looking for or wait till they give the salary range of the position?

Give him your range. What you honestly think you are worth. If it doesn't match what they have for that position, they will give you theirs and you guys can negotiate. It al depends on you man. Get that bread

i might be one of the few IT cats that doesn't have a cert in here lol. My end goal in this IT journey is management so thats where my degrees come in handy. They tend to hire people in this positions more if you have a masters.

Yeah you don't need certs for that but that's where, as you said, the degree does come in handy.
Honestly I prefer the engineering side to the management side.

You might be a CIO one day though :salute:

$70 on the board.....

Reading the job descriptoin, $70 sounds a little high for that position. But there is no reason not to reach for it. Every place I've gone to I always ask for 10k more than they are suggesting. Only been turned down once :manny:.

But I wont be surprised if they look at $52 an hour for that position.

probably true. i applied to four new positions in my department called 'service owners' that would be taking on project management responsibilities coupled with dynamic planning throughout our academic and research community. i had an informal interview with the new director who i interviewed with for this current job i got two years ago (my boss' boss) and i am feeling really good about it. i have an english degree LOL! aside from 10+ years on the job experience and SCCM 2012 training i don't have shyt. doubt i need it.

Anyone have any experience working with music related software? I've been doing music production for a long time, and have been interested in the design process, testing, etc. I just don't know of any ways into that field. FYI: I don't have any experience in software design, just my knowledge in music.
