Good luck man, CCNA is no joke. But if you gonna get your CCNA you might as well go for the CISSP too. My boy has his CISSP and he makes over 100k:krs:...but he also has a TS clearance so that adds to his value.

does he have his bachelors or no?

Anyone ever have an employer verify the entry level CompTIA certs? I could pass the A+ and Sec+ if I sat for them, but I don't wanna drop $6-800 if I don't have to.

They will verify it. The certs come with a verification number and they will ask for a copy too if you say you got it.

Nah, they about $160-190 each

Nah, I think the A+ and Security+ are at least $300 a piece unless you find a really good voucher. The A+ is a two part exam and was at least $150 for each of the two exams when I took it a few years ago. It's probably more expensive now.

any project managers in here? ima need your help, how on earth does a nikka break into this field?:mjcry:
Not a project manager, but I had to learn about project management for my first job. I imagine you'd have to do some stuff with the PMBOK and taking the PMP exam... I pronounce it "pimp exam" instead of sounding out the letters, cause the whole parallel idea of a project manager being a pimp is awesome.

But thats as far as my knowledge of that goes.
