How do you do remot3 desktop support?

was contacted by a recruiter about it initially. did a remote job for a bank last year so transitioning to another back doing remote was easy

but I do see that theirs a lot of jobs out there that’s remote but I feel like it’s easier if it’s contract

I’m sure full time would be harder because it’s more of a commitment and they would want to see a person first before letting the person go fully remote

I swear the best thing about dealing with recruiters is getting advanced notice on the interview process and questions :lolbron:

Oh, so you'd like me to describe a SQL injection attack and how they can be avoided? Sure, it's not like I didn't have advance notice you would ask me that and have already prepared an answer :troll:

I've been a helpdesk/technician coming on two years now. I started with no actual work experience but I already knew hardware and software to a decent degree. I'm thinking of going in the cloud/networking direction (I dont want to deal with people at all anymore). Are there specific cloud/network certs that are under AWS ?
I rarely see that many Networking roles anymore. And usually people in cloud roles worked as Systems admins, DevOps or coders.

That’s where I’m at with my current role. Job is gravy except for a erratic cac manager that’s been trying to micromanage me since day 1, and p*ssy cac lead that thinks he knows it all and acts like someone asked to borrow money when you reach out for support or a question. These guys do Devops all wrong only option I’ve got it to jump ship or deal with stress and health implications from dealing with their micro aggressions. Hate it because the company is actually kinda dope, looking for a 20% raise and 2 words: IM GONE
Ended up leaving for a smaller increase in pay, $10k signing bonus and a manager that seems to want to see me succeed (3-4 of the senior/principal engineers worked for this manager at different roles, seems like a solid guy from what all of the team members say). Only problem is no 401k, only rsu options and I’m not sure about how good of a product they’ve got but my goal is to get more k8s experience and if need be, I’ll go to another role :manny:

this will be 4 jobs in about 15 months for me :manny:

Fortunately, it’s an engineer’s market currently :pachaha:

Anyone use Logitech AV equipment for their conference rooms? My job does and that shyt sucks. I'm told my job went cheap and had some guy install them. They didn't want to spend money on an AV company and now I have to figure out why things don't work
