I got IT experience since high school in 2012 , so 10 years . All i want is a low ass helpdesk job too . I don't care about the pay rn , I need to get bacc in the hang of a 9-5 though

Just keep applying for your next contract and move on to the next. Eventually a solid offer will come but now a slight door has opened just keep grinding.

You should find out what specifically she's interested in because IT is broad, but when I hear IT, I personally don't think of Software Engineering, which is what she'd be learning at a coding boot camp.
