Hey guys figured I would post this here. I have an interview for a Vulnerability Assessment Analyst position coming up. It's basically Entry Level, if anyone has any tips I would gladly appreciate it.

Study the skills listed in the job description. Google vulnerability analyst interview questions. If you really want to do well. Watch a few YouTube videos on burp suite & postman.

I'm gonna go back and reread the thread again. :snoop:I'm not getting callbacks on my resume after the A+/CCP (help desk/support) and don't know which would make me more marketable.:francis:

I find them all interesting too.

I like looking at the Security+ because it's broad, but that price :sadcam:

CCNA looks too hard for me right now :deadrose:
I'm studying the AWS Solutions and I like that it's only 75$ too but realistically I wouldn't even touch a job like that with no experience. :mindblown:

Man knock that out....I got mine and my salary is at another level. To give you perspective...I was making $204,000 last year...now its more....wayyyyyy more. I really can't believe it either because a few years ago I was barely making it and sleeping out of my car to become a software engineer
I've been going back to this post, I wanna this is me one day. Good shyt breh :wow:

Word of advice. Study for the CCNA & Security+ before AWS Solutions.

I did the same exact thing you are doing and it is not ideal. You will literally be working backwards like me and it is going to take you longer to get the cert. So many networking and security concepts that is the core of AWS.

I'm at a University now as a telecom/VoIP analyst but I've reached a dead end

Tired of dealing with clients and users

I'd like to be making triple figures, have a decent salary but I feel like I should be doing and making more

From what I've read my options are either getting into security or learning how to code ???

Have a degree in Audio Engineering, wondering if maybe I can combine the coding and my audio knowledge to maybe be like a audio programmer ?

Started the harvard cs50x and html on the freecode website. shyt is overwhelming.
If you can get past this stuff then you can make a career out as a programmer. Don’t plagiarize but don’t be afraid to google shyt or look at the solution videos. Don’t be surprised if it take you days or weeks to figure some stuff out.

I'm just trying to get hired at this point, so those Kevtech videos were great. I can now put ticketing and active directory on my resume since that's all these people care about:yeshrug:

So far recruiters are just ghosting me and I only get offered these 4 week "onboarding" phone contracts but I feel it coming. I think Imma be in soon:wow:

I hope:sadbron:

da Fukk yo?

aye but shyt I took the RHCSA EX200 3 times. ( not alot of questions/problems, so no room for fukkups really + spent too much time studying the wrong shyt that wasnt on the exam

But if the 1st part of the A+ is whipping his ass this much, Idunno breh

What course did you use to pass the CKA? Im in DevOps myself making alittle under $150,000 as a Kubernetes admin, well EKS to be exact. Hoping this cert can bump me into that 180 to 200k range.
