Nothing is worst than going through multiple interviews and then having disagreements about salary. Most companies be trying to pull some BS on folks and hope that they are desperate to take anything:camby:
Luckily it was just a phone screen, but even so , these MF was doing waaay too much with the high energy chipper shyt. They took too long to get to the point and when money talk came up they completely melted down. Their whole mood changed :lolbron:

I'm good where I'm at anyways. I just try to keep my option on the table at all times.

When this contract is up, I should have enough skills to go for 120K gig at least,

I've passed my RHCSA and EX180 (Containers & Kubernetes) exams earlier this year. Im thinking of either going for the RHCE or EX280: Openshift Admin.

Which one holds more weight in your opinion?
Would probably say RHCE cuz it has broad appeal. Plus not everyone uses Openshift

Yyoooo how's the new gig treating You? Stress level? Etc.

It's actually been pretty chill but mostly because the client I got assigned is not in a rush to deploy their entitlements. The kicker is that a large of my incentive is based on the deployments I see through, so its in my best interest to get them engaged, which has been a hassle cuz the sales team hasnt been helpful:francis:

Cant really complain all in all. They have corporate Udemy accounts so free courses galore:blessed:. My manager was talking about traveling to the client site but since the delta variant came through, shes been mum about it. Manz tryna stay home as long as possible :yeshrug:

This is why its always important to keep your skill set up and most importantly, let these people know you have options. When they're more aware of that fact and know you're not pressed or desperate either way, they're more likely to play ball. It's the time wasting that's the real bytch.

Do you guys just ask anybody and everybody you used to work with for referral? There's a job I want but I haven't worked at the same company as the dude in 3 years. I think I'm gonna go ahead and ask him via LinkedIn. He was nice guy and I'm sure there's a referral bonus for him if I get the job.

I would, especially cuz he'll likely to get a referral bonus.
