Issa and Lawrence both aint shyt.

Lawrence was a scrub. Simple as that. He wasnt working. He forgot his girl's Bday. He wanst working. He wasnt saving money. His pipe game was weak too. He did nothing at the start of the season. Issa shoulda dumped him right then and there since he was in that state for a while. Also, Tasha's "support" was done without knowing that this dude was a bum.

Issa aint shyt because she should have broken up with him instead of cheating. And she treated Daniel like shyt too. And she shytted on Molly. Im not supporting either of these movements.

Saying that, I would laid Tasha the fukk out.

And Molly riding that nikka.

This shyt happened to me a few years ago with my ex. Chic just up and gets ghost for 2-3 days had me worried like shyt and then pops up like aint shyt wrong. Muthafukka would not admit to her fukk up so I just left it at that and did the same thing. She goes nuts when I did it for a few hours and after 3 days I just cut the shyt off. Wasn't even worth playing games..a month later she calls back and tells me she so many weeks pregnant...fukk outta here them numbers don't even add up. I aint a simp or fool. You fukked up now deal with the shyt.

I'm not emotionally depleted at all.....I just love myself too much to second guess someone's feelings about me. I value consistency and once someone shows me that they aren't that I make the play to get rid of them. Going ghost for 2-3 days isn't an adult way of handling things. Could you imagine the thoughts running through Lawrence's head as she broke up with him before going to a night club and then not coming home for days? I don't know about you but I value the fukk out of my happiness over everything else.....that wouldn't make me happy.....there's also a safety concern in addition to the emotional turmoil you're going through. Someone you live with not coming home for days and not picking up the phone? fukk that.....I'd rather be by myself. The show should be called immature not insecure because the main character doesn't know how to handle her problems like an adult.

I think their relationship had just run it's course. Nothing lasts forever. Issa was sick of his lack of ambition and he was just sorta taking her for granted... they were probably more like roommates than boyfriend and girlfriend. Issa probably should have just stayed split from him when they broke up in episode 1

Once Issa went ghost he woke up and busted his ass to make it up to her. She still went out and did what she did. Sure, his depression got the ball rolling for her infidelity, but that should be the discussion. Why couldn't she stop the momentum?

And what qualifies as "standing with him". She wasn't that supportive at all. Again, maybe we don't know how long this phase lasted, but I didn't see much support.

They had bills to pay and rent, and she took care of that. She let this dude stay in the apartment, share a bed, etc. And he still didnt remember her BDay.

We don't know how long the phase lasted though, but they made it seem like he was collecting unemployment for a while.

I know he was depressed, but she was there with him anyway.




The other thing I wish this show explored a little deeper was how aint shyt Lawrence's friends were. Breh called his man up to talk about his depression, and dude was like "buck up, I gotta watch this game." That was really powerful to me.

wasn't he always going to the bank where she worked to cash them unemployment checks?

she knew he was a bum, she knew he was working at best buy. and still encouraged him. And in his most time of need, she gave Lawrence what he needed.
