Issa really being over the top mad about getting bullseyed was the weakest writing of the season but I'll overlook it cuz everything else has been great 
. I just felt like the whole facial thing was a weak vehicle to wrap up her and Daniel but it resulted in a great comedic moment so

Daniel definitely shoulda kept that joke to himself. lol even if he felt like they're "even" now he never was gonna be allowed to say it. not even jokingly, because women

it's funny to me how I've seen a lot of females key in Lawrence calling Issa a hoe/jumpoff and gloss over her belittling his work aspirations and throwing his depression in his face like it's something he chose. not to mention the fact that Issa asked her best friend "how to hoe", is going through a "hoe phase" with a whole "hoetation"

I do peep the differences with how Lawrence is dealing Tasha as opposed to his coworker and I attribute that to that "hood" element kinda turning him off
. the coworker is definitely more of his speed, he needs that laid back, kinda "nerdy", more reserved kinda girl (hence why he was with Issa) because he clearly wasn't comfortable in that cookout setting
. it certainly helps the new girls case that more time passed since the Issa split and Lawrence has done some wilding out, giving him more recovery time than Tasha.

She gave Lawrence two options: Reschedule their thing or she can go with. He chose poorly. When they got there and was getting all the
looks, she told him that if he wanted to dip out right then, she was down for it. He chose poorly. That's his pattern.Prior to that, her entire demeanor screams "go with the flow and not take things too seriously." It's almost too good to be true.
But given that the last time he was alone with Issa they ended up fukking, he was probably right to bring her along just to be accountable.
With the way they've written Lawrence, though ... he'll fukk that up too because he chooses poorly. The breh is kind of accustomed to having his hand held due to what he went through with Issa. That's no bueno but he's got to get past it.
