What happened with Lawrence in this episode is the reason why sometimes you have to delete/block/unfollow mutual friends on social media. He wouldn't have spent the episode social media stalking Issa if he hadn't been on Kelli's page and saw the pic of her with Daniel.
It reminded me of how I feel like I made the right choice last year in a similar situation. When it became clear a relationship with the girl I was seeing last year wasn't going to happen (it was complicated between us and let's just say I'll never believe anyone who claims only men avoid relationships), I deleted her and her friend from Snapchat. I make it a point to not social media stalk exes/anyone who I'm no longer involved with, but all it takes is the wrong pic that someone else posted with them in it, or the wrong comment, to come across your news feed to ruin any progress you made
I can't really related to how that kind of revelation about Molly's parents feels like, but I can see how that hit close to home for some people. It's kind of similar to how some people feel when they find out anyone they idolized or looked up to in some way did some dirt. It's the kind of thing that'll cause you to reevaluate everything you thought you knew about someone and/or something, in this case relationships.Messed up as it is, I think she'll be better for it in the end because it shows that the "perfect" relationship doesn't exist, nor should that be the goal. Even your parents are human at the end of the day, and to be human is to be beautifully flawed.
I'm really interested in seeing how she copes with it, especially when just a few episodes ago, she was telling Lawrence that Issa "cheated, but isn't a cheater."
